1. Tier Definitions and Capabilities
1.1 Oriald Cloud
The foundational Property Management System (PMS) designed for front desk, housekeeping, and management operations. Capabilities include reservation management, guest profiles, folio and ledger management, payment reconciliation, shift handovers, and basic management reporting.
1.2 Oriald Energy
Extends the Cloud tier with active energy monitoring and intelligence. Requires integration with compatible physical sub-meters. Capabilities include real-time tracking of grid, generator, and solar power consumption, room-level telemetry, vacant-room energy waste detection, and AI-generated energy optimization insights.
1.3 Oriald Autonomous
Extends the Energy tier with autonomous physical control. Requires integration with compatible actuators, smart breakers, or thermostat relays. Capabilities include automated AC cutoffs for vacant rooms, rule-based load shedding (e.g., dynamically switching loads during generator transitions), and AI-driven autonomous workflows.
1.4 Oriald Enterprise
Tailored architecture for multi-property groups. Includes custom integrations, advanced synchronization logic for local edge servers, dedicated private cloud environments, and extensive bespoke reporting.
2. Deployment Architectures
Cloud-Only: Software is accessed entirely over the public internet, hosted in Oriald's managed data centers.
Offline-First / Edge Deployment: A local edge server is installed on the hotel's premises. Core transactions are processed locally and synchronized with the cloud asynchronously. In the event of a total internet outage, local front desk and cashiering operations continue uninterrupted.
3. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
Customers and their Authorized Users must not use the Services to:
- Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts on the Oriald network.
- Use the Services to execute denial-of-service (DoS) attacks, port scanning, or vulnerability testing without express written permission.
- Store, transmit, or process any payment card data (PCI) outside of the designated secure tokenization fields provided by Oriald.
- Attempt to bypass or manipulate energy telemetry readings or autonomous safety protocols (e.g., overriding critical load shedding rules that could result in hardware damage).
Oriald reserves the right to immediately suspend access to the Services if a violation of this AUP threatens the security or integrity of the platform.
